Colorless or white crystals. Having characteristic odor of fragrance, it slowly volatilizes in 20 ºC. With density of 0.992, melting point of 179.75 ºC, boiling point of 204 ºC and flash point of 65.6 ºC, it slightly dissolves in water, easily dissolves in alcohol, ethyl ether, carbon disulfide, other volatile or non-volatile oil.

Widely used in the fields of pharmaceuticals, plastics industry, flavor industry and so on. In daily life, it also could be used in prevention of insects, mothproof and deodorization.
